Small Schools Fund - this organisation uses a monthly draw scheme
to raise funds to support any small school in Wales threatened with
closure
Sandy Longmuir is the organiser of a large and growing
network of Scottish e-mail contacts concerned to persuade the Scottish
Parliament that small schools are assets and should not be closed.
He is from Arbirlot in Angus and began with the now successful campaign
to keep his own local school open and the success of the group is
growing both in helping retain small schools and promoting the cause
